KUALA LUMPUR: The General Insurance Association of Malaysia (Piam) has affirmed that its members will simplify procedures for personal accident insurance claims relating to the passengers and crew of MH370 and would not be requiring a death certificate.
Piam, which represents all general insurers and reinsurers in the country, said the industry would also prioritise the claims payouts to ensure speedy settlements.
