DBS wealth management business greatly enhanced

DBS Bank’s purchase of the Asian private banking business of Societe Generale will place it in a stronger position to capture the wealth flows of ultra high net worth individuals.

For US$220mil, DBS will have its assets under management (AUM) rise by about 23% to S$85bil from the current S$69bil, said the Singapore Business Times (SBT).
