NewJeans voiced the official Korean audio guide for the British Museum in London, according to agency Ador on Tuesday.

“We are proud and happy to participate in meaningful work introducing a variety of artifacts that illustrate the beauty and aesthetics of Korea,” said the group via the management company.

The quintet recorded a guide for major artworks displayed at the institution including an inlaid celadon from the Goryeo Kingdom, a moon-shaped white porcelain jar from the Joseon era and the Scholar’s Studio, which applied traditional techniques from the 1700s.

Separately, the members will bring out a double single How Sweet on May 24. It will be followed by a single Supernatural which will mark the group's official debut in Japan. It teamed up with American singer and songwriter Pharrell Williams and Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami for the Japan single. — The Korea Herald/Asia News Network
