Young Alister out to make amends in Formula 4 races

PETALING JAYA: Youngster Alister Yoong will be hoping for better luck in the second round of the FIA Formula 4 SEA Championship at Sepang International Circuit this weekend.

The 16-year-old missed out on a top-three finish in the opening round last week but the experience from the first four races of the new season will play a big part in his quest to secure a podium finish this time. “The weekend was quite tough for me, in practice we showed good pace but the wet qualifying threw us off which is why I had to start from ninth,” said Alister, who battled back to fifth in Race 1.
