(Reuters) - Alfa Romeo could return to Formula One with their own team rather than simply putting their name to an engine provided by Ferrari, FIAT Chrysler chief executive Sergio Marchionne said on Friday.
"Alfa Romeo are capable of making their own chassis, just as they are capable of making engines," he told Italy's Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper in an interview, without specifying a timeframe.
