PETALING JAYA: It was a bad day at the track for Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah as he suffered a lack of grip in the front end of his Moto2 machine during the first practice session at the Italian Grand Prix.
The 20-year-old Petronas Raceline Malaysia rider could only manage a best lap of 1:56.170, 3.310 seconds behind pace setter Esteve Rabatat of Spain at the 5.245km Mugello circuit.
