Asean more than a club of 10

SOME of us think of Asean as simply a club comprising the 10 countries in this corner of the world, and every now and then, their leaders meet to talk shop and figure out ways in which the governments and other institutions can work together.

It is, of course, far more than that. First and foremost, it is about all who live in the region.
