BERLIN (Reuters) - Germany expects a consensus at an EU summit on Thursday for extending economic sanctions against Russia by six months for its intervention in Ukraine, a senior German official said.
The official, speaking at a pre-summit briefing in Berlin, said he did not expect EU leaders to introduce additional sanctions against Russia for its role in Syria.
