Johor Sultan pledges RM1mil to aid Pasir Gudang chemical crisis

The air quality caused by the illegal dumping of chemicals in Sg Kim Kim has forced hundreds of students, as well as adults, to be hospitalised.

JOHOR BARU: Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has pledged RM1mil in aid to help authorities' efforts in handling the chemical pollution crisis in Pasir Gudang.

Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah said His Majesty was deeply saddened by the tragedy.
