No to bigger share of tourism tax to Sabah, says tourism minister

KOTA KINABALU: The federal government will retain the current system of splitting tourism taxes equally between Putrajaya and the states, said Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Mohamaddin Ketapi.

He said this in response to a suggestion raised by a Sabah opposition assemblyman for the state to retain 100% of its tourism tax.
