IPOH: The ruling on the minimum age to buy alcohol beverages at 21 is not a new regulation, says Deputy Health Minister Dr Lee Boon Chye.
He said the ruling was actually gazetted in 2016 by the then-Health Minister, but due to feedback from the industry players, the implementation was delayed.
