Malaysian accused in burglary of foreigners’ Bangkok house

BANGKOK: A Malaysian man is in custody in Bangkok in relation to a burglary in Bang Kapi district in which valuables belonging to three Marshall Islands businessmen were stolen.

The three victims told Lat Phrao police on Saturday that the house they rented had been broken into the night before and valuables and cash worth a combined Bt12mi (RM1,495,610) were stolen.

The Malaysian man, whose name has not been released, was allegedly identified on CCTV camera recordings in the neighbourhood.
