KUALA SELANGOR: A woman drowned after her car plunged into a river near Lorong Nenas here in a freak accident.
The 58-year-old victim is believed to have lost control of her vehicle in the 11.45am incident on Friday (Jan 26). The victim's 31-year-old daughter suffered injuries.
It is learnt that the car hit an electrical pole before crashing into the nearby river.
District OCPD Supt Mohd Asri Abd Wahab said investigations confirmed that the victim's cause of death was due to drowning.
