Expo Negaraku prepares special souvenirs for first 100 visitors

KUALA LUMPUR: If you happen to be near Dataran Merdeka today, do drop by at the Expo Negaraku 2017.

You might be one of the lucky visitors to walk away with surprise souvenirs.

The expo will be showcasing all the present and future major infrastructure.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan said the expo is the first of its kind and the biggest consists of five huge domes and will be an interactive, informative type.

The public can view closely and interactively the MyHSR, Trans Borneo Highway and the MRT Corp line projects.

“The idea was inspired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. We expect many visitors before it closes on Dec 15.

“The idea was mooted five months ago and construction on the domes started on Oct 15,” he told reporters after a media preview of the expo here yesterday.

Admission is free.

Abdul Rahman said apart from the surprise souvenirs for the lucky first 100 visitors, there would also be performance by local artistes such as Faizal Tahir, Rich Estranged and Ismail Izzani, among others.

There will also be light shows, food trucks, zumba, futsal and go-kart activities during the weekends.
