Over 230 'clubs' in Sarawak shut down for running gambling activities

MIRI: Over 230 recreational clubs and family entertainment centres have been shut down in Sarawak.

State CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Dev Kumar said the police and local council had to take action against these businesses after they were found to be functioning as gambling dens.
