KUALA LUMPUR: Police arrested several people, including a teenager, in Kelantan on Wednesday for having terrorist links.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said the 18-year-old youth was nabbed for making a bomb.
He confirmed that there was more than one arrest, but declined to elaborate.
“It is too early to reveal any details but I will release a statement about this in three days,” he told a press conference at the Police Training Centre (Pulapol) here on Friday.
It was reported that the teenager was nabbed in Pasir Puteh and taken away on a helicopter.
