No change in petrol prices this week, diesel 3 sen down

PETALING JAYA: Petrol prices are unchanged for the fourth week of August while diesel prices are down by three sen per litre.

The price of RON95 will remain at RM2.15 per litre while RON97 will stay put at RM2.43.

Diesel will go down by three sen to RM2.01 per litre from RM2.04 per litre previously.

The prices, which were announced on RTM1 on Wednesday evening, will be in effect from 12.01 am on Aug 24 until Aug 30.

The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect in April this year, and the prices of petrol and diesel had been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies.
