Bus driver jailed and fined for stealing watch


SHAH ALAM: A bus driver was sentenced to four days’ jail and fined RM2,500 by the magistrate’s court here for stealing a wristwatch belonging to an official of the Malaysian women’s football team.

Magistrate Siti Shakirah Mohta­rudin handed down the sentence on Muhammad Izwan Ayub, 27, who pleaded guilty to the charge, to be served from the date of his arrest on Aug 17.
