Jahara: Villages at mercy of loophole in eviction law

GEORGE TOWN: After the near forced eviction of Kampung Mutiara villagers, state Opposition Leader Datuk Jahara Hamid (pic) called for the state to address a ‘merciless loophole’ in the law.

She said folks in traditional villages in Penang ran the risk of being expelled without mercy or compensation.
