PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices will be lower across the board from midnight Wednesday, with a two-sen drop per litre for petrol and a one-sen decrease for diesel.
The price of RON95 petrol will go down two sen per litre to RM2.10 (from RM2.12), while RON97 will be priced at RM2.38 (from RM2.40).
Diesel will drop one sen in price from RM2.03 per litre previously to RM2.02.
The new prices will be in effect from June 1 until June 7.
This was announced on RTM1 and posted on the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry's Twitter account on Wednesday evening.
The weekly fuel pricing mechanism came into effect from April this year.
Prices of petrol and diesel had been placed on a managed monthly float system since Dec 1, 2014, following the removal of fuel subsidies.
