PUTRAJAYA: Several policemen involved in the case of S. Balamurugan, who died in custody on Feb 8, admitted that they did not observe standard operating procedures (SOPs).
During the second day of the hearing by the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) Tuesday, four policemen who were on duty on Feb 6, the evening of Balamurugan's arrest, said they were aware of various SOPs but did not abide by them.
