Groups call for MACC probe into RM2.3bil Splash takeover

PUTRAJAYA: Several groups have called on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to probe an alleged “over-evaluation” in the Selangor government’s proposed takeover of Syarikat Pengeluar Air Selangor (Splash).

Pertubuhan Suara Rakyat Marhaen (Suara) Malaysia adviser Zamil Ibrahim said this was because the RM2.3bil assessment by Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali was a far cry from the RM260mil made by his predecessor Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.
