Three teenagers arrested over alleged rape of Form Four girl

HULU SELANGOR: Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with the statutory rape of a Form Four girl at her home in Kalumpang here.

The trio, aged between 15 and 19, allegedly had sex with the girl at her parent's home after meeting her through the WeChat app.

Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt R. Supramaniam said the boys started having sex with the 15-year-old girl between January and March this year.

"They had sex with the girl while her parents were not at home.

"The boys were also her schoolmates," he said in a statement.

The suspects will be remanded until March 31 to facilitate investigations under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape.

Supt Supramaniam advised parents to monitor their children's activities on social media to prevent similar incidents from happening.
