Two Jalan Nagasari restaurants razed in afternoon fire

KUALA LUMPUR: Two restaurants were razed in an afternoon fire at Jalan Nagasari, off Jalan Raja Chulan here.

A spokesman from the City Fire and Rescue Department said that they were alerted at about 1.46pm on Tuesday.

The spokesman said two shop lots were engulfed by the fire when firemen arrived at the scene at about 1.59pm.

He added that firemen were able to bring the fire under control at about 2.25pm, and the fire was completely put out at 3.13pm.

The spokesman said the cause of the fire was still under investigation, and added that there were no reported casualties.
