PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan has maintained that the Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister has the authority to approve extension of time (EOT) to developers of delayed property projects, even though the High Court recently ruled otherwise.
Abdul Rahman, who was Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister between May 2013 and June 2016, said the government had amended the Housing Development (Control and Licensing) Regulations in 1989.
