Man with penis stuck in ring suffered three days of pain

JOHOR BARU: A 41-year-old man slipped a ring onto his penis and endured three days of pain before deciding to head to the hospital for treatment.

The man apparently suffered through the pain for the past few days, as he could not get the ring off his private part.

A Johor Baru Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said that the victim is currently receiving treatment at Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA) emergency unit here on Tuesday.

He said the victim is supposed to undergo about two hours of surgery at the hospital where firemen were also standing by to provide assistance.

The man is still in the operation theatre as at press time.
