Rival funeral service employees fight over seriously ill patient


EMPLOYEES of two rival funeral service companies got into a scuffle outside a hospital, Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported.

The incident happened at a hospital in Shenyang, China, on Dec 3 when workers rushed there upon hearing that a seriously ill patient was receiving treatment.

However, the groups started to fight each other after they failed to agree on which company should take up the funeral service should the patient die.

Police rushed to the scene and detained the men involved.

The incident happened at 10pm on Sunday when the thief failed to escape from the house as the owner returned.

The owner, who was shocked to learn that his house was ransacked, called the police.

The thief climbed up the roof and hid on top of the awning to escape detection.

However, due to his weight, the awning started to crack and the policemen heard the sound.

The thief, who is in his 50s, was charged in court on Tuesday.

The paper said two men suddenly pushed down the girl who was standing next to the motorcycle.

The culprits then fled with the motorcycle.
