GEORGE TOWN: Student Chong Fu Quen tried to save as many electrical items as he could before fire engulfed his family’s power tools service centre in a morning blaze at Jalan C.Y. Choy.

The 18-year-old said he was alone in the shop when he heard shouts of “fire”.
