September fuel prices, Petrol down 5 sen, diesel unchanged


PETALING JAYA: Petrol prices for the month of September will go down by five sen per litre, but diesel prices remain the same.

Petrol prices for RON95 will be RM1.70 per litre, while RON97 will be RM2.05 per litre.

However, the price of diesel remains unchanged at RM1.70 per litre.

Petroleum Dealers Association of Malaysia deputy president Datuk Zulkifli Mokti confirmed this on Wednesday.

The Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry decided to set the prices of petrol and diesel on a managed float system from Dec 1, 2014 following the removal of fuel subsidies.
