RM150,000 reward for Peng Soon

GEORGE TOWN: National shuttler Chan Peng Soon (pic) will receive RM100,000 from the Penang government and another RM50,000 from a shopping mall here for having reached the Olympics badminton mixed doubles final.

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng stated in his official Facebook page that Chan’s badminton partner Goh Liu Yang, from Malacca, will also be given RM25,000 by the state. He said the contribution was in recognition of their efforts.
