Woman run over by her car

KUALA LUMPUR: A woman died after being crushed by her car she was trying to stop from rolling backwards in New Salak South Village early Saturday.

City Fire and Rescue Department personnel received a call at about 9.45am regarding a woman who was trapped under a car.

They managed to retrieve the body of 40-year-old Goo Guan Yen from underneath the car but she died soon after.

The Department's chief operations officer, Samsol Maarif Saibani, said investigations indicated that Goo was trying to stop her car from rolling backwards and was run over by the vehicle.
