IGP to Umno Youth vice-chief: Don't lodge report without proof


SHAH ALAM: Police have ceased the investigation into a report by Umno Youth vice-chief Khairul Azwan Harun over a conspiracy to topple the Prime Minister as the complainant has no proof to back his claim.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pic) said after recording Khairul Azwan's statement last Friday, police found that the report was solely based on assumptions.
