Najib: Appointment of new officers may boost public confidence


KUALA LUMPUR: The appointment of new director-generals for both the Immigration Department and the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) may boost public confidence, said Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak.

Speaking at a press conference at the Umno headquarters here on Friday, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the recent appointments would allow both organisations to carry out their duties with improved efficiency.
