Ministry holds first meeting to counter terror influence in varsities


PETALING JAYA: The Higher Education Ministry has held its first meeting with law enforcement agencies in an effort to curb the influence of terrorism among students in colleges and universities.  

Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh (pix) said he met with officials from the Home Ministry, the Royal Malaysian Police Force and the Immigration Department Monday to foster greater cooperation in addressing the influence of terrorist organisations on local students and staff.
