Traffic flow generally smooth on highways as at 9am

KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic flow on several major highways was smooth and under control as at 9am, Tuesday.

A spokesman of PLUS Malaysia Berhad, when contacted by Bernama, said traffic flow heading to the north was under control, although slow moving at several stretches.

He said traffic was slow moving from Sg Buaya to Rawang due to a lorry which skidded at KM440.7 in the southbound direction of the North-South Expressway.

It is causing an obstruction on the middle and right lanes, but the affected vehicle is being shifted, he added.

He said the traffic flow heading towards the federal capital and other places was reported to be smooth.

A spokesman of the Malaysian Highway Authority said traffic was smooth in both directions on the East Coast Expressway.
