Passengers, crew injured due to turbulence on MAS flight

PETALING JAYA: Severe turbulence during a Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight from London to Kuala Lumpur caused around 34 people to be injured.

According to a statement by MAS, MH1 encountered turbulence over the Bay of Bengal during its flight from Heathrow on Sunday.
