Indonesian woman killed after being hit by commuter train in Bangi


KUALA LUMPUR: An Indonesian woman was killed after she was hit by a commuter train at KM42.1 near the UKM Bangi station on Sunday.  

Kajang district police chief ACP Othman Nanyan said in the incident at about 6.30pm, the victim, Dasma, 65, died at the scene from severe injuries to the head.  

He said she was believed to have been crossing the tracks before being hit by the commuter train which was travelling towards Bangi.

"The body of the victim has been sent to the Serdang Hospital for a post-mortem," he said. – Bernama
