KOTA BARU: An unemployed man who was jailed 13 years and ordered to be whipped for having sex with an underaged girl, told the Sessions Court here that he did it because he was in love with the victim.
The man, Wan Zukarman Wan Omar said this in mitigation after pleading guilty to raping the 13-year-old at a house at Gunong, Bachok on October 25, 2013 at 3.30pm.
