Man plunges to death at Cheras apartment


PETALING JAYA: A 40-year old man was found sprawled on the ground near the swimming pool of an apartment in what is believed to be a suicide.

The victim Lui Seng Kuan was found in a contorted state on the apartment’s eighth floor, and the body showed signs of serious injuries to the head and legs.

No other injuries were found on the body.

Police were informed at 4.15pm that a body was found in an apartment located in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Chong Kok Sin said that investigations showed no foul play in the victim’s death.

It is known that the victim jumped from the 15th floor of the apartment, hitting the side of the 11th floor as he fell, as blood was found there during investigations.

A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
