GEORGE TOWN: Three workers were injured when part of a factory building under construction collapsed at a multinational company in Bayan Lepas, here.

A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said a fire engine and an ambulance from Bayan Lepas were rushed to scene after receiving a call at 3pm Thursday.

He said firemen were at the scene to carry out rescue operations and the injured were being treated by the ambulance personnel.
