Make Qing Ming green, visitors urged

THE management of the cemetery where Chinese historical leaders Yap Ah Loy and Yap Kwan Seng are buried has urged visitors to practise an “environment-friendly” Qing Ming this year, reported Sin Chew Daily.

The Association of Kwong Tong Cemetery Management Kuala Lumpur urged the descendants of those buried there to reduce the burning of joss sticks and candles as well as recycle all offerings during the festival, which usually falls on April 5.
