Young Shin Hao facing up to the limelight in fine style

Classy act: Shin Hao performing during a Chinese New Year event.

JOHOR BARU: When 11-year-old Chia Shin Hao's mother taught him magic tricks, it was her way of teaching him discipline but it led him to the art of Szechuan Bian Lian or face-changing.

The lively SJK(C) Sengkang pupil started performing before large crowds since last year where he changes from one colourful mask to another at the quick wave of his fan or sleeves to depict different characters ranging from a dancer, a monstrous character and a young man.
