Annuar Musa appointed Umno info chief, Ahmad Maslan to head IT bureau


KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Annuar Musa has been appointed Umno information chief, replacing Datuk Ahmad Maslan (pic), who will now head the party’s information technology bureau.

The announcement was made by Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak following the party’s supreme council meeting on Friday.

Annuar and Ahmad’s appointments were among the changes to the lineup of appointed office bearers announced by Najib.

Earlier, Najib said that he had informed the Kedah Regency Council to present suggestions on resolving the leadership crisis affecting the state.

He added that any further developments, including with regard to Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir’s position as state Umno chief, would be announced in due course.
