KUCHING: The power outage on Saturday affecting the southern half of Sarawak was caused by a circuit trip at one of the oldest stretches of the existing transmission system, says the Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB).
In a statement Sunday afternoon, SEB said the circuit trip occurred between the Kemena and Selangau stretch of the 275kV transmission grid.
