Teacher puts carpentry skills to good use

KOTA KINABALU: When teacher Marcus Limban used his carpentry skills to put up a fence around a school surau to keep away stray dogs, he never expected the gesture to catapult him to become a symbol of religious harmony in the state.

Of Christian faith, Marcus, now 62 and retired, is surprised by all the attention on social media over the deed done at his own expense.
