Sun bears in Tawau mini zoo to be handed over to Sabah Wildlife Dept

 

KOTA KINABALU: The two sun bears that were kept at Tawau Hot Springs (THS) mini zoo will be handed over to the Sabah Wildlife Department by this week.

“Contrary to conflicting press reports about one of the sun bears being released, both animals are still there but kept out of public view until we can make room for them,” said state Wildlife Department deputy director Augustine Tuuga.
