140 associations join hands with G25 for moderation

GEORGE TOWN: A hundred and forty associations in Penang have pledged to support a moderate Malaysia by signing a petition backing the group of 25 prominent Malays (G25).

The associations, most of which are under the umbrella of the Penang Chinese Town Hall (PCTH), joined hands with four non-Chinese based associations, namely the Penang Muhibah Consultative Council, Penang Malay Association, Penang Indian Association and Penang Burmese Association in inking the petition.
