NGO lodges police report against Surendran

KUALA LUMPUR: A non-governmental organisation (NGO) has lodged a police report against Padang Serai member of parliament N. Surendran for allegedly undermining the Malaysian judiciary.

Gerakan Rakyat Marhein (Geram) hit out at an April 18 statement by Surendran which it claims undermined the Court of Appeal’s March 7 decision which found Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim guilty of sodomy.
