Teng: Water rationing approved on advice of Syabas


PETALING JAYA: The Selangor Government and the National Water Services Commission (SPAN) approved the implementation of water rationing in the state the moment Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) consi­dered the move necessary.

According to state executive councillor for local government Datuk Teng Chang Khim, the decision was made in view of the water level in the Sungai Selangor dam, which had dropped to 50%.
