GEORGE TOWN: A former Chief Justice hopes that the Government will consider a proposal for the Syariah Court, currently under the respective state governments, to be placed under the Federal Government.
Tun Abdul Hamid Mohamad said should this be done, the process of resolving cases would be easier, especially those related to syariah and civil laws.
